Ryan Faircloth, founder of the homegrown Faircloth Family Apiaries, grew up in rural Liberty County Florida. Liberty County is located in Northwest Florida, amid the Apalachicola National Forest and is one of the most ideal settings for Tupelo Honey production in the world. The small southern county is the most rural county in Florida as many of its’ forest and swampy ground remains virtually untouched.
As a teenager, Ryan took a part-time job working with a local beekeeper for a couple of years until he graduated from Liberty County High School in 1999.  It was after graduation that he realized his passion for the trade and began to think about starting his own apiary business. In the beginning, he started with 80 hives and never asked for or was given a dime from family or friends to fund his new company. He truly began his company with his own blood, sweat, tears, and determination to succeed. Now, after 10 years in this business his hive count ranges near 2,000 and his services have expanded to include crop pollination.
Ryan still resides and works in Liberty County with his high school sweetheart April, and their two children, Ridge and Abella.  The Faircloth family was privileged and honored to be Liberty County's Farm Family of the Year in 2007.
Faircloth Family Apiaries is truly where superior quality and small business meets.
